Nayeli Herrera-Grados

  • Nayeli Herrera, is a third-year Master of Social Work (MSW) student at the University of Georgia, expected to graduate in May 2027. With a strong interest in supporting immigrant communities, Nayeli is passionate about understanding and addressing the social, economic, and systemic challenges faced by working immigrant populations. Their academic interests include immigrant population, community-based interventions, and social policy. Through their research and practice, Nayeli hopes to contribute to programs and policies that promote access to resources, economic stability, and social inclusion for immigrant workers and their families. They plan to pursue a career in social work that combines research, advocacy, and direct community engagement to advance equity and opportunity for diverse populations.
